So where are we going you ask?

We are on our way, herding cats in Spain off to complete another Camino.

We will be using bicycles (E BIKES of course) starting from Seville, in southern Spain and travelling through the remote Roman era Spain of Extramedura along the Ruta Via De La Plata to Santiago De Compostella. 

The run on team for this years adventure is the past camino pilgrims; Pen, Sheryl, Grace ( Sheryl’s daughter), Kymmy and her brother-in-law Greg and myself.  

Not one hard core cyclist amongst us ……..how hard could it be?. 

For those who would like to follow the trip this blog lets you follow the daily updates. I also have links on the home page to instagram, facebook and YouTube. I am hoping to film the ride and upload some small highlight snips to YouTube channel which you can access through the homepage of this site.

I also have a google map on the home page and I will place markers on the map along the way. I could add photos to the map I just need to find a 10 year old to show me how. 

Starting on Wednesday, we have a few days in Barcelona and Seville prior to riding. We leave on the E-bikes and will ride to Santiponce. That will be a post later. 

As a brief overview we will be travelling along an ancient Roman route built for trade from Africa to the continent then occupied by kings and queens, traders and marauders. We will travel cities such as Merida, Salamanca, Zamora and Ourense. 

So why herding cats? Well I think as this rough and ready amateur cyclists make their way along country roads and trails keeping all 6 within eyesight will be like herding cats
